Dario Forzato Interview

Dario Forzato is an Italian-born composer, songwriter, music producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Los Angeles. Having toured for years in Europe, the US and Asia, he started writing and producing music for visual media. He has scored for feature films, documentaries, games, promotional campaigns and the main title sequences of hit TV shows.

Some key mentions of the feature films are – Sharkskin, Scrambled, It Hits You When You Know It, The Box – of the documentaries – We Live Here: The Midwest, A Long Hard Streak. He worked on promotional campaigns of hit TV shows such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Masked Singer, Bob’s Burgers, Duncanville and the main title sequences for TV shows including Called To The Wild, Man With A Van, Mördermann, Top Elf, The Healer.

He also co-wrote and produced the song “Zero Gravity” for the feature documentary ‘Zero Gravity’ (2021), performed by artist Willow Stephens.

It was during the interview that we went back to discover what sparked his interest in music, what was the first piece of music that he was proud of, touched upon the challenging aspects of music composition and discussed his process for composing music or what he plans to do next!
